The Longford Leader Player of the Year nominations have been announced.

Unsurprisingly, county champions Longford Slashers have two of the nominees, while Clonguish have the other in the battle for senior Player of the Year.

Clonguish's Kevin Burke is up against Slashers duo Barry Gilleran and Paul Kelly for the coveted award that will be announced at the annual Gala awards night in the Rustic Inn, Abbeyshrule on Saturday week, December 17th.

Nominees for intermediate Player of the Year are Darren Reilly (Killashee St Brigid's), Bernard McElvaney (Ballymore) and Tony Dooner (Killashee St Brigid's).

In the junior grade, Moydow Harps dominate the nominations as Paul Stuart, David Tiernan and Trevor Higgins are up for the award. Tweet
