Longford SFC: Round Two this weekend

July 29, 2010
Seven games will be played in Round Two of the 2010 SFC over August Bank Holiday weekend.

The match attracting most interest is the Group One meeting of Clonguish and Killoe, where Emmet Og need to win to keep their hopes alive. In the same section, a win for Mullinalaghta against Ardagh will book passage to the last eight.

Abbeylara and Sean Connolly's are leading the way in Group Two and both can galvanise their passage to the quarter-finals with wins over Cashel and Colmcille respectively.

The two pacesetters in Group Three - Longford Slashers and Mostrim - come face to face, with the winners of the match between Ballymahon and Granard sure to make up ground.

Leaders Dromard have a free weekend in Group Four, where there are only three teams. This affords Rathcline and Fr Manning Gaels the opportunity to stake a claim for the second quarter-final spot from that section.
