Next week's draw will be held in the El Paso and the prize money for 4 matching numbers is now 3,600 euro. Please note that next week's draw will be held on the Bank Holiday Monday night.
Our Intermediate team played their first round of the championship on Saturday evening last in Ballymahon.
They faced a well prepared Legan team who came into this game having beaten us on two occasions previously this year.
Our lads were on top for most of the match and were ahead by 3 points with about 13 minutes to go.
Legan kept pressing up the pitch and seemed to pin us in our own half for long stretches of the second period. Legan finished a lot stronger than us and slotted over too many frees from their accurate free taker. This was a disappointing start to the championship but the team are by no means out of the running yet as they have to play both Ballymore & Young Grattans in the remaining games of the group. We hope that the lads can improve from here and win their remaining matches.
Our Junior team are out in the first round of the Junior Championship this Wednesday evening @7:45 in Moydow. They are playing Young Grattans in what should be an entertaining game. We urge our supporters to come along and cheer on the lads. Tweet
