Ryan remains coy

Longford manager Glenn Ryan was remaining tight lipped when asked about his future with the Midlanders.

The Leinster side went out of the All-Ireland championship when they were defeated by Down in the round two of the qualifiers, but they pushed the Ulster side all the way, while they defeated Mayo in the previous round, which all in all made it a satisfying campaign.

However, Ryan has now completed his two year term with the Midlanders and would not say whether or not he would be staying on as manager for another term.

"I can't say much at this time. It has been a disappointing exit each year," said Ryan. "I can't fault the players who are currently with us for the commitment that they gave."
