Dromard club notes

March 01, 2010
Best of luck to our senior scor ballad group of Ann Matthews, Lizzy Reilly, Margaret Dunne, Fr. Patsy McDermott and Caitríona Mulligan and also to Susan Murphy in the recitation in the Leinster semi final on Sunday next in The Downes, Mullingar. Hard luck to Diarmuid and Peter Masterson when they and their Athlone IT team mates bowed out to UCC in the Sigerson Cup at the semi final stage played in the NUI Maynooth grounds on Friday last. On Sunday last we had a second string challenge against Carrigallen in Pairc na Gael. This was valuable game time for our players before competitions start in the near future. Team and scorers; Danny Pettit, James Conefrey, James Mimnagh, Conor Kiernan, Enda Kiernan, Peadar Faughnan, Alan McLoughlin, Peter Mc Entire (0.1), Donal Sheridan (1.1), Martin Mc Gee (0.1), Emmet Masterson (0.2) 1 free, Ciaran Mc Stay (1.0), Kevin Hourican, John McNaboe, Ronan Mc Entire (0.6) 5 frees. Sub used Michael Reilly (1.0). We extend hearty congratulations to Noeleen McStay from Crott and Martin Shekleton who recently got engaged. We know that Noeleen keeps in constant touch with everything that goes on in the club from her New York base and both Noeleen and Martin are regular On Line supporters of our weekly lotto draw. We wish them both all the best in the future. Lotto Results for Monday 22nd February. The numbers drawn were 2, 16, 21 and 24. There was no jackpot winner. The winners of the draw were Mary Maguire, Niamh & Bernie Masterson, Ann Brady, and Jenny Tully. The seller's prize was won by Sean Conefrey.
