There was no winner of the February 22nd draw. The numbers were 7, 12, 19, 29. The winners of 30 euro each were Enda Browne Terlicken; Majella Mahoney, c/o Chris Cox; Mike Cooney, Mostrim Road and Michael Rock Darogue. The March 1st draw was held in Skelly's and was worth 3500 euro, promoters prize was worth 350 euro. Our twenty euro tickets are also on sale from any member of the executive which will get you in the draw for 12 weeks.
The Longford race day will take place on April 21st in Punchestown. We've managed to fill two tables for each of the last 8 years, it would be great if we could do so again. The day out costs 125 euro. Contact Albert Fallon or Liz Farrell if you're interested in going along to this very popular day out.
There will be a club meeting next Saturday, March 6th in the club house at 8 p.m. Please note that it's one hour later than normal.
The club wishes to extend sympathy to the McKeown family on their recent loss.
Finally the club wishes to congratulate Derek Fahy on his appointment to referee the All-Ireland club football final on St Patricks Day. It's a great honour for Derek and his team of umpires and indeed for our club and we hope that the day goes well for them.
