Dromard & St. Francis club notes
30 November 2009Dromard
Well done to our under 21 team who won the championship semi final against Emmett Óg on Sunday last and have thereby booked themselves a place in the final against Mostrim in Pearse Park at 2pm next Sunday. As a result our AGM which was due to take place next Sunday has now been rescheduled for the following Sunday (13th December) at 2pm. We are presently updating our database of contact details, mobile numbers etc for players, members and supporters. On Saturday last when the Under 21 championship game was refixed at short notice, a circulation text issued from the club to all contacts on the database giving details of the rescheduled fixture for the match. If you did not receive this text then the club does not have your correct mobile number. To help us update our records please contact Eamonn Kiernan at 086 1060675 with your name, address and mobile number and your details will be added to the database. We would like to extend our sympathy to John Walsh and family Legga on the death of his uncle, Paddy Briody in Valentia, Co. Kerry. Paddy, originally from Legga, was a member of the famous 1946 Dromard senior football team to win a senior championship for the club. Well done to the Junior SCOR instrumental music group on winning the county final on Sunday last. Lotto Results for Monday 23rd November 2009. The numbers drawn were 15, 21, 22 & 27. There was no jackpot winner. The winners of the draw were Kathleen Curran, Bernie Green, Pauline Smith & Chloe Brennan. The seller's prize was won by Joe Murphy
Minor notes for issue dated Friday 4th Dec 2009.
