BALLYMAHON Training continues at the usual times for all players. Congratulations to the Division Five who are now through to the semi-final of the competition courtesy of a win over Rathcline at the weekend. We play the Division Three Semi Final against Forgney this Sunday, while we are out in Division One against Granard on Friday night.There was no winner of last weeks Jackpot in MurrayÄôs worth Ǩ2700. Numbers drawn 11, 19, 21, 30. Congratulations to the Ǩ30 winners: Gary Flaherty, Ballymulvey; Catherine McGann, Dublin; Mary Carey, c/o The Canal Turn and Collette Mannion, Keel. Last MondayÄôs Draw was held in The PigeonÄôs, with the Jackpot worth Ǩ2800, and the Promoters Prize worth Ǩ280. Tickets are on sale from the usual outlets and cost Ǩ2. Special tickets costing Ǩ20 are available from any member of the executive and entitle the buyer to be automatically entered into the Draw with the same set of numbers for 12 consecutive weeks, with two weeks free. Best wishes to Kevin Diffley and captain Colm Flynn in the replay of the Leinster Junior Final this Wednesday in Pearse Park, and to them and Ambrose McGowan and the Longford Seniors who face Kerry on Saturday. Well done to them on their win over Leitrim last weekend. Ballymahon Forgney Gaels will be running a Gaelic Activity Camp from Tuesday 28th to Friday 31st July in Leo Casey Park, from 10.30am to 12.30pm each day with a half hourÄôs lunch break. Children must bring a packed lunch. The course is aimed at children aged 6-12 and costs Ǩ40 per child, with any additional child from the same family costing Ǩ5.
