History-making Dromard

By capturing the 2008 title, Dromard became the first club in history to win four successive Longford U21 football championships.
Cian Mimnagh helped himself to 1-8 as Enda Macken's charges claimed the '08 crown with a 1-11 to 0-12 defeat of Mostrim in the decider at Pearse Park on Sunday December 7.
For his troubles, the brilliant forward received the Jimmy Tully Memorial trophy - the Man of the Match award.
Team captain Padraic McNerney accepted the Kevin Hughes Memorial Cup for the four-in-a-row winners.
