Senior Championship

Our Senior team recorded a draw against Mostrim in the second round of the Senior Chamionship on Friday evening last played in Keenan Park Ardagh. The final score was Killoe 0-14 Mostrim 1-11. Mostrim had the better start to the game before Killoe edged their way into the game. After 18 minutes of play the score was Killoe 0-5 to Mostrim 1-3. The half finished with 3 points each for both teams and this left the scoreline at halftime Killoe 0-8 to Mostrim 1-6. Scores were hard come by at the start of the second half and after 15 minutes of the half the score was Killoe 0-10 to Mostrim 1-9. Killoe finished the stronger and earned themselves a draw which is sufficient to see them qualify out of the group.

 

Junior Chamionship :

We played St.Marys Granard in the opening round of the Junior Championship on Wednesday evening last. We had a comprehensive victory winning on a scoreline of Granard 0-9 to Killoe 2-16. This was a good team performance and we go into the next round knowing a victory will qualify us for the playoffs at least.

 

Next week our senior team are in league action while our Junior team have another Championship game. Please check fixture list for details.

 

Lotto:

Our lotto draw took place in The Olde Forge on Sunday night. There were no jackpot winners. The numbers drawn were 9,17,23,35. The €20 winners were Jacqueline McKenna 18 River Crescent Ballinalee, John Reilly Bawn, James Dooner Clonee, Mia Dooner Killoe Glebe and Patsy Duke Annally Park. The sellers prize went to Gene Caherley. Next weeks draw takes place in Begleys Bar and the jackpot will be €7,400. Thank you for your continued support for our lotto.
