Dromard Ladies Club Notes
Welcome to 2018: Dromard Ladies Club wish all their players, bparents and supporters a happy and prosperous New Year and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that helped in any way to make 2017 a season to remember.bThe trick now is to try and repeat the successes of 2017 in 2018.bAs you all know by now we have a new chairperson going forward this year, bso welcome aboard Brid Mimnagh. I am sure you will give her every help so don't be shy in volunteering your help in any way you can. A simple offer like 'I will wash the tops after matches' means a whole lot so don't consider any job too small as all these offers make for the smooth running of any club. The most important thing is to let her know asap what you are prepared to do, so that she is able to sit down with the committee and put plans into practice for the start of the new season. The old maxim 'Fail to prepare then prepare to fail ' always rings true.
Fuel Draw: Can everybody return their tickets and money to Bernie or to Moyne Stores by the end of the week. If this is not possible please leave them into the clubhouse before Mass on Sunday 7th so that we are able to make the Draw on time at 12:30pm. If you have not bought your tickets yet there are still a few available in the shops so don't miss out on the chance to win one of 6 excellent prizes and Good Luck to everyone.
Birthday Greetings: A busy time for celebrations for Shauna O'Reilly from our Senior Panel, Aoife Brady and Clodagh Duffy from our Minor Panel, Alyssa McErlean from our U/14s and last but definitely not least Erin Kearney who will be 8 years old on Saturday. Have a really lovely time from all your teammates in Dromard.
