Moyne Re-union: Fifty years ago last September girls were admitted to The Latin School in Moyne for the first time.  If anyone is interested in holding a Reunion over the Christmas Holidays please give Marion a ring on 087 6866450. This was a major event in the life of this historic school and guaranteed its future and the future of the Community School that followed. Fr Jimmy Faughnan was a far seeing President of the Latin School and organised the free school transport that same year. Any Ladies out there who would like to meet up for a chat and reminisce about the "Good Old Days" should make that call.

Dromard GAA Special Members Draw: So far we have had a great response to the re-launch of our "Special Members Draw", both in terms of renewals and some new registrations for 2018. The date is drawing near for the first draw. If you intend to renew your membership or would like to sign up for the first time, please let us know by texting us on 085 8879243. Alternatively, it is very easy to sign up at www.iregister.ie/DromardGAA . The funds raised from the draw are of vital importance to the Club and allow us to maintain the great facilities at Pairc na nGael, which are used and enjoyed by the entire community. Thank you for your continued support.

Leader Cup: Congratulations to Mullinalaghta St Columbas on their victory in the Leader Cup final on Sunday last. Commiserations to Longford Slashers who played their part in an entertaining contest.
