The lads recovered from a slow start in bad conditions to level the game at half time 2-4 to 1-7. Unfortunately we were defeated by Adare in senior football but this Saturday gives our Senior Footballers a chance for redemption when they line out against Monaleen at Páirc na nGael at 7pm and we ask on everyone to come out and show your support. In the Minor Football championship we take on Killulta Gaels on Friday at home. All at Claughaun would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the Counihan family, who have a long association with the club, on the recent passing of their brother Dermot, formerly of St.Patricks road. Flaitheas Dé go raibh ag a anam.
