Na Piarsaigh manager Shane O'Neill is adamant that they will have to be at their best if they are to defeat Ballygunner in Sunday's Munster club SHC final.

The Limerick champions are seeking their third provincial title in five years and amazingly have never lost a provincial match in their history.

However, they face a seasoned Ballygunner side who impressed in not only their county campaign, but in Munster as well.

And O'Neill stressed to the Limerick Leader that they will have to be at their best to lift the title this weekend.

"These guys want to win and you can see that throughout this year," said O'Neill. "We didn't discuss Munster until we got over the county final but then there was a steeliness in the boys to at least get to the final.

"We are dealing with every game as they come - it's about dealing with ourselves because we don't have time to look at Ballygunner. They are a serious, serious club championship side - they are extremely strong throughout."
