O'Connor wary of Galway

Limerick minor manager Leo O'Connor admits that they know very little about Galway ahead of their All-Ireland MHC quarterfinal.

The sides meet at Semple Stadium on Saturday afternoon and this is Galway's first outing in the championship.

This could well be a setback for the Tribesmen, as Limerick has come through a tough Munster campaign that saw them defeated in the final.

O'Connor does feel though that Galway will know about Limerick, but the same can't be said the other way around.

"It's Galway's first game in the championship, so you just don't know what to expect. They can be the jack in the box surprise team of the championship or they can disappoint like they did last year," O'Connor told the Limerick Leader.

"We played them twice in challenge games and there wasn't a puck of the ball between us. They have a lot of lads from the Athenry side that just lost to winners St Kierans in the All-Ireland Colleges semi-final."
