March 04, 2015

Limerick GAA officials were wholesome in their praise for retiring Coaching Officer Tony Roche at a recent county board meeting.

Limerick GAA chairman Oliver Mann led the tributes to Tony Roche who has been involved with the county board for many years.

"He assured me it is nothing personal or he has no issue with anyone on the board or the board itself," said Mann told the Limerick GAA website.

"I thank him for his services to Limerick both as a player and an officer down through the years - he has given outstanding service to Limerick," added the chairman.

A special EGM is to be held in April when a new coaching officer will be elected. Clubs have until March 10th to put forward candidates for nomination.
