Limerick manager TJ Ryan has stated that youngsters Cian Lynch and Tom Morrissey have been 'a breath of fresh air' since joining the squad.

The duo were part of the Limerick minor squad that won the Munster title last year, but have been drafted into the senior panel this year.

And Ryan told the Limerick Leader that they have made a big impact since linking up with the squad as the Shannonsiders prepare for the Waterford Crystal Cup final against Cork at Mallow tomorrow (Saturday) night.

"In fairness since they have come in, they have been a breath of fresh air - they have been working hard and are going well in training and have got scores in both days. Getting those type of guys into the squad is a plus."

Limerick begin their NHL campaign with a home tie at the Gaelic Grounds against Waterford on Saturday, February 14th.
