Rathkeale's Mick Neville Park is set to undergo a major redevelopment after Munster Council granted Limerick GAA €500,000 funding for the project.

The pitch, which has been used for many county games as well as county finals over the years' will undergo a major transformation to bring it up to county standard once again.

Over the last few years, there has been some work done on the grounds and it is reported that €1 million more is needed to complete it.
