Flash misses the point

The bird of prey was supposed to swoop into the stadium and deliver the referee's whistle to James McGrath before the All-Ireland SHC semi-final between Kilkenny and Limerick. But instead, he flew behind the Cusack Stand - much to the amusement of the 45,478 spectators present and the embarrassment of his handler and sponsors, who had organised the stunt.
Fortunately, the referee had a replacement whistle and was able to proceed with the game which Flash watched from the cup presentation rostrum in the Hogan Stand. Tweet
