Claughaun GAA Club Notes

INTERMEDIATE HURLING: Claughaun Will play Kildimo in All County Hurling League on Saturday 25th May, throw-in at 7.00pm.
INTERMEDIATE FOOTBALL: Claughaun played Feohanagh Castlemahon in the County Intermediate Football League. In a tight, tense affair Claughaun came out on top as it finished 2-12 : 1-11. The teams next outing is Wednesday 22nd May when they face Mungret St Pauls.
JUNIOR HURLING: Claughaun will face Monaleen on Tuesday 21st May, away at 7pm.
U-16 FOOTBALL: Claughaun faced South Liberties in the U-16 Football Championship on Monday 13th May with the final score Claughaun 2-06, South Liberties 1-13.
U-14 FOOTBALL: The team travel to Ballybricken Bohermore on Monday 20th May in Championship Football. Throw-in at 7pm
U-8 FOOTBALL: Claughaun hosted a football blitz on Friday 17th May. The teams competing included Claughaun, South Liberties, Mungret & Kildimo. Well done to all involved in what was a fine exhibition of underage football.
ALAN MADDEN R.I.P.: All at Claughaun would like to pass their condolences to the Madden family after the passing of Alan Madden. Alan was a member of the 1946 minor football team that won the first county minor football championship. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam

FÉILE NA NGAEL LUIMNEACH: Claughaun are hosting a team in this years Féile Na NGael Luimneach Competition on the 4th, 5th and 6th July 2013. As a result, Claughaun are seeking volunteers who would be willing to accommodate players from the travelling club (Children aged 14 years). Any household who would be willing to help out, please contact the club secretary (087 996 4177). All support on this will be greatly appreciated.
