County board does u-turn on withdrawal threat

The Limerick County Board have opted against continuing with their plan to expel teams from the various championships, if they fail to support the 2012 GAA development draw.
At this week's county board meeting, clubs urged the county board to withdraw their threat of expulsion and following a heated debate, the executive agreed to do so.
Club delegates expressed their view that with the current financial restraints that everyone faces, it is impossible to meet some of the demands that the county board expect.
