Buckley back for Shannonsiders
March 13, 2010
The Limerick footballers have been boosted by the return of their captain Seanie Buckley for tonight's NFL meeting with Munster rivals Waterford at the Gaelic Grounds.
It will be Buckley's first appearance of the campaign after a long injury layoff. The team shows four changes from that which started against Longford three weeks ago. Brendan Moran comes in for Conor Ranahan, Shane Gallagher replaces the injured Stephen Lavin, John Cooke starts for the first time this year instead of Cormac Joyce-Power, while Buckley also comes into the side.
With next Thursday night's Cadbury Munster under 21 football semi-final against Tipperary in mind, Joyce-Power, Eoin Joy and Ian Ryan drop out of the side, but are named among the substitutes.
Limerick (SF v Waterford): B Moran, J McCarthy, C Mullane, M O'Riordan, A Lane, S Gallagher, P Ranahan, J O'Donovan, J Galvin, P Browne, J Ryan, J Mullane, G Collins, J Cooke, S Buckley.
