Patrickswell GAA Notes

June 22, 2009
Patrickswells Senior hurlers maintained their undefeated League 1B record with a fine 4-16 to 1-11 win away to Ahane.  Patrickswell are level with Doon at the top of the table, with two matches to play.  Both teams have recorded four wins and a draw. The Junior B hurlers had a fabulous week as they secured a City championship crown.  In the semi-final, the Well cruised past neighbours Crecora by 6-8 to 1-5.  In the final, the lads faced a stiffer test against Claughaun and won by 4-10 to 1-12.  The Junior A hurlers have reached the City Final after a narrow 2-16 to 3-11 triumph over Na Piarsaigh in the semi-final. Our Under 12 camogie players are involved in the County Final in Rathkeale on Thursday 25th June.  Your support for the girls at the match is greatly appreciated!!  The Intermediate ladies were beaten 1-9 to 1-5 by Bruff in the last match of their league campaign. Limerick has drawn Wexford (away) in the second round of the All-Ireland SHC Qualifiers.  The match is scheduled for Saturday 11th July.  On Sunday 5th July at 2pm, Limerick travel to Páirc Uí Chaoimh for a mouth-watering Munster football final against Cork.
