Patrickswell GAA Notes
December 22, 2008
The Christmas Draw for Patrickswell Juvenile & Camogie club took place in the Dark Horse last Saturday night. There was tremendous support in the village and beyond for our fundraising event. First prize, a trip to Manchester United v Liverpool, was won by P.J. Hall of Adare. The second prize, a trip to the 2009 All-Ireland Hurling Final, was won by Mike Horan of Limerick. The TV/DVD combo for third prize was claimed by Tanya Considine of Fanningstown. Patrickswell GAA Club is very grateful to everyone who sold and purchased tickets for the draw.
On the same night, we held a Christmas raffle for the club's Mackey Draw members. The 20 lucky winners were as follows: Aidan Lynch, Michael Carey, Jim Buckley, Liam Quinlan, Hannah Guinane, Maurice Fitzgerald, Joan O'Brien, Michael Naughton, Kevin O'Brien, Phil Bennis, Louise Foley, Madge Cowhey, Elma Lynch, Kitty Mulcahy, Sean Moynihan, Gerry Corcoran, Mary Cormican, Niamh Geoghegan, Sharon O'Curry and Tim Quaid.
