Treaty boss search suffers setback

It is understood that a solicitor's letter received by the Limerick County Board has delayed the selection process of a new senior hurling manager in the Treaty County.
Former Limerick hurler Tom Ryan is said to unsatisfied with the makeup of the current selection committee and is alleged to have brought legal means into the matter.
The Limerick County Board are currently making no comment on the matter, but are expected to in due course.
Limerick are in search of a new manager following the departure of Richie Bennis, who is supposed to have reapplied for the position, after exiting this year's All-Ireland SHC to Offaly.
