This week saw our Under 14 Footballers secure a good win against Na Piarsaigh on a scoreline of 3-04 to 2-02. Unfortunately our Under 13 Hurlers were defeated by the same opposition 1-07 to 1-01. Our Junior B Hurlers take on Pallaskenry in the City final on Saturday at 6.30 and we call on all to come out and support the lads. The venue for this final was not confirmed before going to press. Claughauns Senior Footballers take on Athea this Friday in the relegation decider and again your support is vital for this very important fixture. Our Junior B Footballers take on our neighbours Ballinacurra Gaels this Thursday and in the Minor Football championship we take on Na Piarsaigh on Friday night. There are two quarter finals in the Intermediate Hurling championship being staged at our grounds on Childers road on Saturday at 3pm and 4.30pm. Saturday week 15th sees the annual Claughaun Dog night taking place and we call on everyones support for this vital fundraiser. Anyone wishing to have digital photos of any aspects of Claughaun displayed in the clubhouse bar should send a copy on disk to the club PRO.
