Mungret/St.Pauls 1.11 St. Patricks 2.13 City rivals faced up to one another in the final game of the Minor Football Premier League section and served up a very exciting game with some excellent passages of football. After an evenly contested first half Mungret led 1.08 to 105 and with five minutes remaining the teams were level at 1.11 each. Mungret were guilty of some poor finishing before St. Patricks took advantage of an opening and scored an opportunist goal and them added two points. St. Patricks had to win to qualify for the county semi final and we wish them every seccess to make up for disappointment of loosing the 2007 final. Congrats to our Under 12 football team who have qualified for thei third in a row county final and our under 16 team who have qualified for the county semi final.
