SFC takes shape
August 29, 2008
With the group games concluded, the line-up is known for the latter stages of the 2008 Limerick senior football championship.
Ballylanders are the only team to finish with a 100% record. As the top team in Group One, they progress to the semi-final stage. Joining them there are Drom-Broadford, who topped Group Two despite losing their Round Five outing to St Senan's.
That victory was enough to guarantee Senan's a quarter-final date with Newcastle West in Dromcollogher on Sunday September 14. Fr Casey's and Pallasgreen meet in the other quarter-final in Kilmallock on Saturday September 6.
Athea and Claughaun finished bottom of their respective sections and they meet in the relegation final at Ballingarry on Friday September 6.
