The nominations for the next Limerick senior hurling manager are set to be revealed tonight (Tuesday) at a special County Board meeting.
Firstly, the Board will launch a development plan for Limerick GAA at 8pm in the South Court Hotel in the city, which is to be followed by the reading of nominations for the position of senior hurling manager in the county to Board delegates.
The list of nominations is likely to consist of several managers within the Treaty County, including current county Under 21 manager Ciaran Carery, ex-manager Tom Ryan and former manager for the past two and a half years, Richie Bennis.
The new manager will receive a two-year term and will have two selectors along with him to complete the management team. The next County Board meeting is set to take place on next Tuesday week, September 9, where a manager is expected to be put in place for the Limerick senior hurlers.
