The Late David Conboy The communities of Bornacoola and Mohill were brought to a standstill, following a tragic accident which claimed the life of David Conboy, Rooskeynamona, Mohill, Co Leitrim. Mr Conboy was rushed to Sligo General Hospital following an accident last Thursday afternoon on a shed he was working on at Rinn-a-curren. Tragically he passed away on Friday morning. David was a keen footballer with Bronacoola which he represented at underage level and also won a Connacht medal with Marian College, Mohill when he lined out at half -back for the school. Mr Conboy's interests and talents extended beyond football and this was typified by the successful business which he had established. The numbers at his funeral and at the Conboy house last weekend were indicative of how well he had came known through his business and also the high regard which he was held. Declan is survived by his parents Mary and Tom, siblings Declan, Jackie, Fidelma and Maria and his girlfriend Susan.
