Quinn it to win it

Shane Quinn believes Leitrim's U21s can shock Roscommon in Saturday's Connacht final.

Quinn and his team-mates have already recorded one shock success against reigning All-Ireland champions Galway last time out and the Mohill clubman has now set his sights on shooting down the highly-fancied Rossies at Pairc Sean this weekend:

"We've got belief in ourselves," he says in The Leitrim Observer. "We believe from 1 to 30. We believe in Shane and Gregory and all the boys. We believe we can push on and do the job for the county.

"Roscommon are a great team. They've played in All-Irelands, they've played in Croke Park. They know what it takes to win. But nobody gave us a chance against Galway and look where we are today.

"It has been a long time since the last final, it is too long for the county. We're excited to be there.

"We knew from the start of the year we'd be there. We knew we were playing the All-Ireland champions but we were quietly confident that we were going to beat them."
