Leitrim ladies boss Niall Kilcrann says a match isn't defined by one kick.

Kilcrann's team could have nicked last weekend's Division Three final had Aine Tighe's late free gone between the posts but the manager told The Leitrim Observer that things are not that simple:

"We had ample opportunities to win the game before the last kick of the game. It is not down to the last kick of the game.

"Westmeath let us back into the game, we let Westmeath back into the game, so by no stretch of the imagination is it down to the last kick of the game.

"No game ever comes down to the last kick of the ball so we wouldn't be putting my hopes on that one.

"We could have won it, Westmeath could have won it, so at the end of the day both teams will be happy to be getting another bite of the cherry." Tweet
