County well represented on Croke Park committees

New GAA president Liam O'Neill has appointed five well-known Leitrim officials to his various committees.

O'Neill recently announced 32 different committees that will oversee discipline, refereeing, finance and games development among other things. Former Leitrim board chairman Gerry McGovern has been appointed to the National Finance Committee, while current Connacht Council delegate PJ Meehan has been named on the National Insurance and Risk Management Committee.

Current county board chairman Joe Flynn will sit on the Central Appeals Committee, ex-county PRO Brendan Doyle is on the IT & Communications Committee, while former county secretary Declan Bohan will serve on the Central Hearings Committee.
