Minor titles for Manchan's and Gortletteragh
May 04, 2012Last Friday's 15-a-side decider at Pairc Sean proved to be a one-sided affair with St. Manchan's powering to a 2-13 to 0-5 victory over a disappointing Drumkeerin side. St. Manchan's full forward Niall Beirne was the star of the show, finishing with a personal tally of 2-3.
The 9-a-side final in Ballinamore was far more entertaining with Jack Heslin's late goal handing Gortletteragh a dramatic 5-7 to 5-5 victory over Fenagh. The losers dominated the first half to go into the break leading 2-5 to 1-3, but they couldn't shake off a determined Gortletteragh, for whom Padraig Gallagher bagged a hat-trick of goals. Tweet
