Sadly another great GAA man Willy McKiernan passed away in Toronto, Canada recently. Willy played football for his native parish Aughavas and Ballinamore during the 1940s and 1950s winning a Senior Championship with both in '54 and '56 respectively. Indeed in 1956 he also won a Senior Hurling medal with Aughavas. Willy also won a Connacht Junior medal with Leitrim in 1946. Tweet
