Appeal to delay Minor decider as well
September 26, 2008
The Leitrim Minor Football Championship final has been delayed following the decision of the Connacht Council to refer an appeal by the Sean O'Heslin's club back to the Leitrim county board.
The appeal has held up the Leitrim SFC final, in which the minor final between St Francis and Garadice Gaels has feel victim too prolonging as well.
A decision over the appeal is expected from Croke Park soon, and league games have been provisionally fixed for this weekend, but may change if the dispute is resolved before then.
