Former Dublin hurler Mick Carton has given an update following his stay in hospital after testing positive for Covid-19.

The Dublin fireman was hospitalised on March 14 after he was disagnosed with Coronavirus and was released home last Tuesday.

Carton wanted to thank all the hospital staff for the care they showed him and also thank the huge amount of people who wished him well.

"I'd just like to thank everyone again," he tweeted. "I've never been too emotional but I was overwhelmed by all the messages from everybody to me and all my family from all walks of life."
