AFL clubs have agreed a 50% pay cut for players after the season was suspended after two rounds due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
With all games off until June at the earliest, the cut will apply for the months of April and June, while clubs and the league have been temporarily laying off huge numbers of staff.
Players are training on their own with all group activities suspended.
Last week Dublin players Niamh McEvoy and Sinead Goldrick flew home to ensure they were able to get back to Ireland.
Tyrone’s Conor McKenna, Cork’s Mark Keane and Derry’s Anton Tohill are now also headed back to Ireland following the AFL shutdown according to Fox Sports.Tweet
