Zach Tuohy is expected to feature for Portlaoise in next Sunday's Laois SFC final against Stradbally.

Not for the first time, the Aussie Rules star is back in his home town at this time of the year and is ready to assist Malachy McNulty's men in their quest for a remarkable 10-in-a-row of county titles.

Tuohy is currently out-of-contract with the Carlton Blues and is reported to have requested to be traded to Geelong. His Carlton team-mate Bryce Gibbs has also asked to join Adelaide.

Tuohy hasn't missed a game for Carlton in the last four seasons and sits only behind North Melbourne's Sam Gibson, Sydney's Dane Rampe and Melbourne's Nathan Jones for consecutive games among active players.

Since joining the Blues in the 2010 rookie draft, he has played 120 games.
