It was an eventful day for Mark Timmons.
The Graiguecullen clubman attended his daughter Kathlyn's First Communion before heading off to O'Moore Park to line out at full back for Laois in their 3-16 to 0-18 victory over Wicklow in the first round of the Leinster SFC.
Interestingly, Timmons' daughter was born the day he played in Laois' 2007 All-Ireland U21 final defeat to Cork.
