Cheddar adds new selector

November 26, 2014

Laois manager Seamus 'Cheddar' Plunkett has added a new selector to his backroom team.

Ballinakill's Seamus Dwyer has come on board for the 2015 campaign as Plunkett looks to replace Paul Cuddy and Damien Culleton who stepped down after two years in the roles.

Dwyer who still plays for his club admitted to the Leinster Express that it was an easy decision to make.

"It was a no-brainer of a decision. I am delighted to be involved and I was thrilled to be asked. I think Laois are on the cusp of something and I'm delighted to be on board."

Plunkett has to add another selector and that position should be filled in the coming weeks.
