Performance pleases Critchley
May 08, 2013
Laois minor manager Pat Critchley was delighted by his side's display against Meath.
The minor hurlers comfortably defeated the royals by 3-15 to 1-5 to earn a quarterfinal place against Offaly in two weeks time.
Following the opening day defeat to Kilkenny, it was important for Critchley's charges to bounce back with a performance and they did just that.
Speaking to the Leinster Express he said: "It gives us a bit of momentum and its Offaly here in two weeks' time, and that's our focus now, on that game. We'll have two solid weeks of training for the game; we're looking forward to it."
