Willie Hyland says Laois are a better team than Carlow.
The neighbouring counties clash in the first round of the Leinster SHC at Dr Cullen Park on Saturday and O'Moore captain Hyland tells the Leinster Express:
"Carlow are Carlow and on any day they are a match for anyone. They are going pretty well at the moment after winning Division Two of the league and that final win will have given them a boost.
"I haven't seen them this year even though they played in Kilkenny the same day as us. But by all reports they are going well and they are strong and physical.
"I am confident enough that if we can get a run at them that we will take them.
"Look, we are a better team than Carlow and if we get our game right then we won't be too far away in Leinster."
