Teddy McCarthy was keeping his feet firmly on the ground after Laois' surprise Walsh Cup victory over Dublin in Portlaoise.

The new O'Moore County boss said after his side's 2-14 to 1-14 success: "We have to put everything into context, Dublin probably had their second team out.

"But we can only play what is put up against us and in fairness to the guys today they picked up where they left off last week. All these games are good for us, we need to be playing the likes of Dublin to see where we stand." Tweet
