Lillis appeal goes back to county board

January 12, 2012
Portlaoise joint manager Mick Lillis' appeal over a six month suspension he received is to be reheard by the Laois County Board.

Lillis was handed the 26-week suspension after an altercation with Arles-Kilcruise manager Mick Byrne when the sides met in last year's championship.

The Portlaoise joint manager appealed his suspension to both the Leinster Council and the DRA, with the latter recommending that the case go before the Laois CHC once again.
