Laois hurling boss Niall Rigney is expecting his side to get their National League campaign back on track tonight when they welcome Kildare to O'Moore Park tonight (throw-in 8.00pm).
The two sides had originally been scheduled to play last month in their league opener but heavy snow fall saw the game postponed and they are now finally set to do battle with a precious two points on the line.
Rigney, whose side lost out to Clare at the end of last month, says Laois should have nothing to fear any more when other teams travel to Portlaoise and he is confident his side can pick up a first win against the Lilywhites.
"That's what we're about now, we don't make excuses any more, those days are gone and we're moving on. Clare coming to Portlaoise, we shouldn't fear that any more, we should be looking to take a victory," said Rigney.
