Campion realistic about Laois chances

May 30, 2009
Laois hurling captain Brian Campion admits his side is unlikely to cause an upset in Sunday's Leinster Senior Hurling Championship opener against Galway. The Tribesmen make their first foray into the Leinster fray against Laois in Portlaoise. And Campion concedes that his side is up against it as they bid to bring a shuddering halt to Galway's debut in the province. He said: "I suppose asking for a win is probably a bit too much. It'll be a big ask for us but we just have to get on with it. "A lot of people have been talking about this game as if it's only a warm-up for Galway but we want them to know they've been in a game. We'll go out and hurl as hard as we can."
