The remaining three NFL Division Four games will be the toughest for Laois, according to manager John Sugrue.
The O'Moore County have looked impressive throughout the campaign to date winning all their games, but they have yet to face Antrim and Carlow, two sides still in the hunt for promotion.
A comfortable win over Wicklow made it four wins from four for Laois, but Sugrue stressed to the Leinster Express that the campaign gets tougher from here on in.
"This is the day that the league begins I think, we've played the bottom four teams and we've the top three to come. We've done our business to date and we're not in a bad place heading into the second part of league," said Sugrue.
He added: "We have Antrim next Sunday, they are up near the top of the league. We saw them the first day up in Leitrim and they were quite impressive."
