Mayo stand between Cork and a place in the TG4 All Ireland Senior Championship Final for the seventh year in a row and fourth in a row against Dublin who await the winners of tomorrow's Kingspan Breffni Park clash on Sunday, 24 September.

TG4 All Ireland Intermediate Championship Semi Final
Sligo v Tyrone, Kingspan Breffni Park Cavan, 3:00pm (B. Rice) ***Televised live on TG4***
 
Sligo and Tyrone will meet in the first match of the double header at Kingspan Breffni Park. These 2 teams were both tipped as potential TG4 Intermediate All Ireland Champions at the beginning of the championship so it is no surprise to see them contest the Semi Final. Sligo came through a tough Connacht Championship as champions before again facing a Roscommon side that made them work hard in their Quarter Final meeting. Tyrone had little trouble in retaining their Ulster title and were similarly impressive when brushing aside the challenge of Leitrim in their Quarter Final meeting.
 
The experienced duo of Neamh Woods and Gemma Begley will provide vital leadership for Tyrone but their young stars like Maria Canavan, Gráinne Rafferty and Christiane Hunter are bursting with potential. Sligo have experienced heart break at this stage in recent years including an extra time loss to Kildare last year but that experience will stand to them now and experienced stars like Etna Flanagan, Noelle Gormley, Jacqui Mulligan and Stephanie O'Reilly will be vital to their hopes of progressing. Sligo are a battle hardened team having come through some tough matches whereas Tyrone have progressed through to this stage relatively untested.
 
TG4 All Ireland Senior Championship Semi Final
Cork v Mayo, Kingspan Breffni Park Cavan, 4:45pm (N. McCormack) ***Televised live on TG4***
 
Cork are on the verge of reaching their 7th TG4 All Ireland Final in a row and their 4th in a row versus Dublin; however, before they can even think about that they must overcome the considerable threat provided by Mayo. Donegal had been one of the favourites to win the championship but a Grace Kelly inspired Mayo knocked them out in the Quarter Final and they will relish the opportunity of repeating the feat against Cork.
 
Bríd Stack is due to return to the Cork starting line up after injury ruled her out of the Galway match, the matchup of Stack and Cora Staunton is one to relish in this encounter. Elsewhere the inside forward line of Scally, Finn and O'Sullivan have been in red hot form and they will all feel that they are capable of taking any chances that come their way. Mayo have a tried and tested line up that includes the likes of Yvonne Byrne, Martha Carter, Sarah Tierney, Fiona McHale and Cora Staunton. Grace Kelly's form has been a revelation this season with Sarah Rowe getting through a mountain of hard work for her side.
 
Cork were written off by many at the start of this season but that has been proven to be a mistake as the Young Rebels have shown that this side are going nowhere. Mayo will be spurred on by the desire of players like Byrne, Carter and Staunton for whom this could be their last chance of TG4 All Ireland glory.

TG4 All Ireland Junior Championship - Semi Finals - ET if Necessary
Fermanagh v London, 12.00pm, Lannleire, Dunleer, Co Louth 
 
A great match is in prospect at Dunleer on Sunday when Fermanagh take on London in the Junior Semi Final. Fermanagh have been the unbeaten form team in this grade all season. They will look to Sharon Murphy, Marita McDonald and Áine McGovern to help them face the biggest challenge that they will have come across this season to date. London were surprise losers to Carlow earlier this season but they have gotten their season back on track and with players like former Mayo star, Lisa Cafferkey, and former Dublin star, Hannah Noonan in their ranks they are more than capable of winning this encounter.
 
Carlow v Derry, 1.45pm, Lannleire, Dunleer, Co Louth 
 
Carlow have been in great form throughout the championship and will be delighted with their progress as they stand on the verge of reaching their first TG4 All Ireland final. Their win over London has Carlow brimming with confidence and they will be optimistic that they can maintain their form against Derry.
