McGarry in for final?
08 August 2007
Long-serving Kilkenny keeper James McGarry could be set for an All-Ireland SHC final appearance next month if concerns over incumbent PJ Ryans health are confirmed.
Initial scans have revealed that Ryan fractured his arm during last Sundays All-Ireland semi-final win over Wexford.
If further scans support the initial diagnosis then Ryan will be ruled out of the final against Waterford or Limerick.
Ryans absence would thus pave the way for McGarrys return (after his wifes tragic death) or Richie ONeill to step in.
